About See.Taste.Do Blog

... from Sydney, Australia

See.Taste.Do Blog is a curation of interesting, quirky and recommended-only things you can 'see, taste and do'. Founded by Jenny Wong, Editor, Writer and Photographer in January 2014, See.Taste.Do seeks to feature on her blog local artists across the country, from regional to the cities. ‘Artists’ are not just people who paint pictures. Everyone whether it be a chef, restauranteur, fashion designer, film director, comedian, actor, dance teacher, local artisan of handmade crafts is an artist. These people started something because of a passion to create, communicating something personal, whether it be food, experience, beauty for someone to enjoy, to resonate for a lifetime. With restaurants, it's just as much about food served on the table as it is about the people behind these establishments. The process of creation is just as important as the end game. See.Taste.Do believes that everyone has a story to tell, to inspire and seeks to share their real life stories with you.

In just 12 months, See.Taste.Do has attained over 8,500 followers and has collaborated with brands as a digital influencer, ambassador, photographer and even a product innovator by launching her own signature handmade candle fragrance 'Whitewave' in collaboration for an Australian local artisan which was selected by Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Australia as gifts for the editors of some of Australia’s leading fashion magazines.

See.Taste.Do has also collaborated with farmers from regional NSW to create the blog’s first Christmas hampers of hand selected farm produce with the intent of ensuring city dwellers can be directly connected to farmers creating a direct 'farm to table' experience.

See.Taste.Do has worked with
Cathay Pacific Airways for the Good Food Month’s Asia Town Street Food Festival including meeting and interviewing Australian born Executive Chef and restaurateur David Thompson; and The Grace Hotel, Sydney for various international food festivals held throughout the year.

Other celebrity chefs See.Taste.Do has interviewed for her Blog include Bill Granger from the famous Bills restaurants around Sydney as well as many Executive Chefs and restauranteurs from some of Sydney’s finest dining establishments.

See.Taste.Do was also a chosen digital infuencer and blogger to help launch Garuda Indonesia’s new brand relaunch including the launch of their new first class and business class long haul inflight menu.

See.Taste.Do has also partnered with TEDxSydney and TEDxMelbourne in 2014 as a key digital influencer for these events, where speakers who have an idea and have the gift of storytelling are handselected by event curators and come together to talk at these high quality and popular events. In addition to this, See.Taste.Do adds to her credentials interviews with independent film directors, and film and stage actors on recommended films and performances to see.

See.Taste.Do’s passion and natural focus on food has led to commissioned work for food photography and as social media gatekeeper for Sydney dining establishments and airlines to assist with enhancing social media engagement.
