With Christmas just over and the New Year just arrived, there is no shortage of food at home. That's because when everyone in your family knows you are a foodie, Christmas presents from family gravitate towards that theme. And with that gives me an opportunity to show you some of the delicious food I prepared around the holiday season, either from gifts I received or just generally, I had spare time on my hands to dabble.

I stepped in the lift and watched the floor number display in the lift rise, rise and rise, 10 …20 …30 …40 …50 …60 ….80…110 …123. High Tea experience at the Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world was nothing short of extraordinary. I've been a little absent from the Blog for a few weeks as I have been travelling the world: Spain and Dubai with Emirates Airlines to be precise and I've just landed back in Sydney and recovering from jet lag. All in good time I will tell you about my trip if you haven't already been following on Instagram and Facebook. It's taken me about 2-3 days to settle back in home and how hot is it in Sydney?! This is my first blog post in Sydney after my overseas trip and this is worth showcasing as we approach the festive season and time for decorative cakes!
